Package #3: (15 days/14 nights) San Jose - Tortuguero- Puerto Viejo Beach- Arenal Volcano- Rincon de la Vieja- Ocotal Beach- Monteverde Cloud Forest- Alajuela

Day 01: San José

Private transfer from the International Airport to the Presidente hotel. Located in the heart of the city of San Jose, the hotel also has an excellent restaurant service and is located just 100 meters from the National Theater and the Gold Museum. Overnight at the Hotel Presidente.

Day 02: San Jose /Tortuguero

Tour to Tortuguero National Park. On the way enjoy a typical breakfast, then you can see a banana plantation and part of its process. We then arrive at Caño Blanco, from where we will take the boat that will take us through the canals to the hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the town of Tortuguero and the Caribbean Conservation Museum. Dinner. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge.

Day 03: Tortuguero

Breakfast. Boat ride through the canals of Tortuguero National Park and adjacent lagoons. Lunch, in the afternoon, free time to enjoy the area. Dinner. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge.

Day 04: Tortuguero / Puerto Viejo (Cocles)

Breakfast. Departure to Siquirres to continue towards the Caribbean area. At the Caribbean Dish restaurant, you can take the Daihatsu Bego 4x4 to start the trip to Playa Puerto Viejo. Overnight at Hotel Azania, this is a cozy hotel located 100 meters from Playa Cocles, this is a hotel with Caribbean-style bungalows.

Day 05: Puerto Viejo y Cahuita

Breakfast. Tour to the Cahuita National Park with snorkeling, the tour begins with a boat tour where you can snorkel to observe the different species of coral and variety of fish, then continue to the Cahuita National Park where you can taste a fruit before starting the walk inside the park. Typical Caribbean lunch is included at the end of the tour. Overnight at Azania Bungalows.

Day 06: Tortuguero / Rio Pacuare Rafting/ Volcan Arenal

6:00 am, departure to the Siquirres area where you can take the rafting tour on the Pacuare River, this river is class III and IV including lunch. After the tour, you'll continue to the Arenal Volcano area. The Arenal volcano is the most active in the country, it can be seen from different points thanks to its conical shape. Lodging at the Arenal Springs Hotel. This is a very cozy hotel, ideal for couples, it also has an excellent view of the Arenal volcano from its rooms.

Day  07: Volcan Arenal

Breakfast. In the morning we invite you to enjoy an adventure through the tropical rain forest in the surroundings of the beautiful Rio Fortuna waterfall. We will ride for approximately one hour until we reach the entrance of the waterfall. Our next challenge will be to go down to the amazing waterfall of more than 60 meters high, where we can take a refreshing swim and enjoy the flora and fauna of the place. In the afternoon, visit the Tabacon Hot Springs, which has 11 pools with different temperatures surrounded by exuberant vegetation. Buffet dinner included. Lodging at the Arenal Springs Hotel.

Day 08: Arenal /Rincon de la Vieja

After breakfast, you will continue towards the province of Guanacaste until you reach the area of ​​the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. In the park 257 species of birds have been observed, the lark, the turkey, the Montezuma oropendola, the swallow, the toucan, the red widow, the ropopo, the parrot, and the guaco, some of the mammals are the wild goat, the peccary, the guatusa, the tolomuco, the armadillo, the 2-toed sloth, the anteater, the howler monkey, the white-faced monkey. This is a magical area, where you can enjoy horseback riding to the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, hot springs, walks in the park, or bathing in the waters of the Oropendola Waterfall. Overnight at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. The Hacienda borders the popular Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Since 1985.

Day 09: Rincon de la Vieja

Breakfast, a free day to enjoy the area and the national park (entrance to the park is $15 per person). Overnight at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin.

Day 10: Rincon de la Vieja/ Tamarindo Beach

Breakfast. Departure to Tamarindo Beach. Lodging at the Hotel Tamarindo Diria, a four-star resort located in front of the sea, a leader among hotels and resorts in Costa Rica, recognized for its outstanding style, comfort, and service (room with pool view)

Day 11:

Tamarindo Beach

Breakfast. Day off to enjoy the beach. Lodging at the Hotel Tamarindo Diria.

Day 12:

Tamarindo Beach / Monteverde

After breakfast, depart to the cloud forest of Monteverde, where you will be able to observe a great variety of birds and an exuberant forest. Free afternoon. We recommend you visit the Monteverde Biological Reserve, one of the richest and most diverse cloud forest reserves in the world. Overnight at Hotel Ficus.

Dia 13: Monteverde

Breakfast. Visit the Hanging Bridges of Selvatura, where you can see an incredible variety of plants, birds, and some insects that are only found in the heights of the cloud forest, then you can enjoy the canopy tour. Free afternoon in Monteverde where you can enjoy optional activities (not included in this rate). Overnight at Hotel Ficus.

Day 14: Monteverde /Alajuela

After breakfast, return to Alajuela, you can return the car at the hotel. Lodging at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, located 5 minutes from the International airport, the hotel has transportation included to the airport.

Day 15: Alajuela/ Flight back home

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
