Budget package #2: (07 days/06 nights) San Jose-Puerto Viejo-Arenal Volcano-San Jose

Day 01: San Jose

Upon your arrival to Costa Rica, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport. Private transfer to your hotel. Overnight at KC Colaye Hotel, located 5 minutes away from San Jose downtown.

Day 02: San Jose/ Pacuare River Rafting/ Puerto Viejo Beach

We will pick you up at your hotel then we’ll stop for a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast along the way. Once we arrive at the verdant banks of the Pacuare River, our professional guides will instruct you on paddling techniques and safety procedures for an unforgettable adventure. The Pacuare is a swift flowing river that offers visitors a unique and exciting rafting experience within one of Costa Rica’s most unspoiled wilderness areas. Lunch on the way. Continue to Puerto Viejo in Limon. Overnight at Azania Bungalows. Designed and crafted in a unique style that blends traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, with a modern building concept, each bungalow has a particular atmosphere.

Day 03: Puerto Viejo

After breakfast, Snorkeling in Cahuita National Park. In this tour you can admire the marine ecosystem of Cahuita National Park; one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean side, you will be able to appreciate 35 different coral species. After the snorkelling, the boat captain will take you to the park, where the guide will give a bottle of water and fruits before the hiking. After the visit to the park you will enjoy a delicious Caribbean Dish: rice and beans, salad and fish or meat. Overnight at Azania bungalows.

Day 04: Puerto Viejo/Arenal Volcano

After breakfast. Departure to Arenal Volcano, this is one of the most active volcanoes in America. Overnight at La Pradera Hotel, located 2 km from La Fortuna town, on the way to Arenal Volcano, at 5 min from Tabacon and Baldi Hot Springs. The hotel offers: Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Restaurant, Volcano view in all rooms, 24 hours security, Wireless internet, private parking and the mountain cabins have cable TV, private bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, mini refrigerator, private terrace with view to Arenal Volcano.

Day 05: Arenal

Breakfast. Free morning. At afternoon, visit to Arenal Volcano Area and Tabacon hot springs, where the hot springs flow from the veins of the splendorous and active Arenal Volcano. Enjoy this natural wonder of Costa Rica and soothing feeling in any of mineral pools and naturally warm waterfalls. Buffet dinner. Overnight at La Pradera Hotel (standard room).

Day 06: Arenal/ San Jose

Breakfast. Free morning. In the afternoon, departure to San Jose. Overnight at Colaye Hotel.

Day 07: San Jose/ Home departure

Breakfast and transfer to International Airport for your flight back home.
