Itinerary:

Day 01: San Jose

Upon arrival at Juan Santamaria International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to Colaye Hotel in San José, located next to La Sabana Park.

Day 02: San Jose/ Pacuare River Rafting/ Arenal Volcano

We will pick you up at your hotel, then we’ll stop for a delicious breakfast along the way. Once we arrive at the verdant banks of the Pacuare River, our professional guides will instruct you on paddling techniques and safety procedures before you don your helmets, grab you paddles and climb aboard the inflatable rafts for an unforgettable adventure. The Pacuare is a swift flowing river that offers visitors a unique and exciting rafting experience within one of Costa Rica’s most unspoiled wilderness areas. In fact, expert rafters call the Pacuare one of the world’s best white-water runs. Once in the river, you’ll battle powerful rapids and rolling waves that spill over the sides of the raft drenching everyone with excitement and fun. Lunch on the way. Continue to Arenal area. Overnight at La Pradera hotel which offers spectacular views of the volcano, from the private balcony

Day 03: Arenal Volcano/ Horseback riding/ Tabacon hot springs

Breakfast. In the morning horserback riding to La Fortuna Waterfall, you will enjoy spectacular views of the lush environment of flora and fauna as you ride on horseback to this amazing 60 meter high waterfall. Upon reaching your destination you will trek through the rainforest to reach the waterfall where you can swim or just relax. In the afternoon you will visit Tabacon Resort, where you can sooth your muscles in the clear, relaxing thermal springs. Overnight at La Pradera Hotel.

Day 04: Arenal/ Monteverde Cloud Forest

Breakfast. In the morning, you will travel to Monteverde by land and boat transportation crossing the Arenal Lake. Monteverde is the Costa Rica’s premier cloud forest. This 26,000-acre reserve is home to an astonishing diversity of plant and animal species. Overnight at Claro de Luna hotel

Day 05: Monteverde/ Canopy Tour and Walkways

After breakfast, you will be taken to the Walkways; this is a unique system of suspension bridges that zigzag through deep canyons at the level of the treetops and also enjoy the canopy tour adventure, then you will have free afternoon to enjoy other attractions of the area. Overnight at Claro de Luna Hotel.

Day 06: Monteverde/ Manuel Antonio Beach

Breakfast. Departure to Manuel Antonio National Park. Overnight at Cabinas Playa Espadilla. Located only steps from the entrance to the most famous national park in the country. The town of Quepos, with all it's amenities, is also just 5 kilometers away.

Day 07: Manuel Antonio Beach / Snorkeling Coastal Kayak

Breakfast. Snorkeling coastal kayak: The adventure begins near the developing Pez Vela (Sail Fish) Marina in Quepos and winds along the Manuel Antonio coastline. Indulge yourselves at a rare jewel of a beach – a hidden Manuel Antonio treasure at Biezans Bay – for a refreshing swim and delicious local snacks. And feel free to have your bilingual naturalist guide direct you to the best snorkeling spots as you experience three small but growing, active, and astounding coral reef systems nestled very close to the shore of Biezans Bay. Or just relax and enjoy the tranquility of a private white sand beach. After an unforgettable experience at Biezans, continue kayaking – if you choose to do so – towards Manuel Antonio National Park and wonder at the nearby nesting islands where exotic boobies and frigates call home year round. Ask your naturalist guide to steer you towards their favorite species’ nesting spots and most popular locations for local aquatic marine life. And finally end your adventure with a relaxing yet rewarding hot meal in typical Costa Rican flavor near the beach at a local Manuel Antonio hot spot before you return to your Costa Rican residence. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach. Overnight at Cabinas Playa Espadilla.

Day 08: Manuel Antonio/ San Jose

Breakfast. Free morning to enjoy the beach. At afternoon, departure to San Jose. Overnight at Colaye Hotel.

Day 09: San Jose/ Home departure

Breakfast and transfer to the airport to your flight back home
